Vincentian CARES | New Name. Same Mission.

St. Vincent de Paul CARES Is Now Vincentian CARES

Same mission, same team, same commitment to ending homelessness, now under one unified name.

We’re proud to announce that St. Vincent de Paul CARES has officially changed its corporate name to Vincentian CARES.

The new name brings our organization together under one brand with our subsidiaries: Vincentian Properties, Vincentian Housing Corporation, Vincentian Legal Services, and the Vincentian CARES Foundation. It also reflects how much we’ve grown. For more than 40 years, we have served people experiencing poverty in Pinellas County and beyond. Today, our services reach 22 counties across Florida and 24 municipalities in Puerto Rico, and in the past five years alone, we have helped more than 7,000 households move into stable housing.

What’s Changing

Our website is now www.vin.care, and our staff email addresses now end in @vin.care. Please update your bookmarks and contacts.

What’s Staying the Same

Everything that matters most. Our mission remains to transform lives through love and service, and our commitment to ending homelessness is unwavering. Our team, leadership, locations, and the programs that individuals, families, and U.S. Veterans rely on are all unchanged.

Why “CARES” Stays

CARES has always stood for our core values: Commitment, Advocacy, Respect, Empowerment, and Spirituality. These values are why we do this work, and they remain at the heart of who we are.

Why “Vincentian”

“Vincentian” describes people and organizations that embrace the values of St. Vincent de Paul. Vincent was a Catholic priest and a tireless advocate for the poor whose ministry transformed poverty in Paris, France, in the early 1600s. He established feeding centers, shelters, and housing for people in need. That is the same work that defines our mission today.

Looking Ahead

As we begin this new chapter as Vincentian CARES, we remain focused on expanding access to housing and building pathways home for our most vulnerable neighbors.
