Help us feed the homeless!

Society of St. Vincent de Paul, South Pinellas’ soup kitchen have currently served 51,000 meals in the past 3 months and even this month the numbers are continuing to grow.

The food center right now is critically low on protein products.  Anything that you’re willing to give would be helpful in order for us to feed the homeless population in our area.  We appreciate any kind of food donation and if needed, we are able to pick it up.

If you have any questions please call our Food Center at 727-258-0892 or email ryan@vin.care.

Here are a few ideas:

-Canned meats such as: tuna, chicken, potted meat, beef stew, etc….

-Deli meats can also be used in numerous dishes:  ham, bologna, turkey or even peanut butter and jelly.

-Any type of beef, pork, chicken will go a long way

-Canned vegetables are great to serve to the homeless.  They normal come in an abundance but we are actually very low on these also.
